Paul and Jana Ponder are the proud owners of Guntersville Tackle & Outdoor @ Waterfront. With a combined background in customer service and retail, they are dedicated to providing an exceptional shopping experience for their customers. Paul, who previously worked for the Municipal Utilities Board of Albertville, brought his passion for community interaction and customer service to Guntersville Tackle. He retired from his municipal role and began working part-time at the store, eager to connect with people in a new way. When the opportunity arose to purchase the business in April 2018, Paul and Jana seized the chance to become full-time business owners. They are committed to continuing the store’s legacy of outstanding service and quality products while also infusing their own unique touch. With 23 years of marriage behind them and an amazing family supporting them, Paul and Jana are excited to take on this new venture. They are dedicated to serving the community and helping customers find the perfect gear for their outdoor adventures.
