HeadsUpGuys’ mission is to become the first resource men (as well as their family members and friends) look to when fighting depression.
Depression affects millions of men every day; yet many suffer in silence. According to the World Health Organization, men account for 75-80% of suicides, with untreated/poorly treated depression being one of the leading risk factors.
- Over 75% of men who complete our Self Check (a depression screening tool) meet the criteria for probable depression.
- Every day, more than 100 people come to HeadsUpGuys after searching for phrases such as ‘I want to end my life’.
To support men everywhere, HeadsUpGuys has crafted an approachable yet comprehensive set of resources that speak directly to men fighting depression – and in the process we are saving lives. We continuously develop new features and content to work towards fulfilling our mission.
