Kingwhistler - Nick Aliberti
Inspired by the natural beauty of the West, Kingwhistler’s music is a mix of Classic Rock, Americana, and Folk. Often compared to The Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Kingwhistler seeks to bring the sound of the golden age of rock and roll to a new generation. With rambling piano lines, rollicking guitar licks, and catchy hooks, Kingwhistler’s debut album “Grass Routes” was released in 2014 and is available on iTunes, Amazon Music, and Spotify.
Frontman Nick Aliberti draws inspiration from his travels, having lived all over the country from Maine to Arizona, New York City to Los Angeles, and all the way to Carson City, NV where he currently resides. Kingwhistler has played to rave reviews at some of the most iconic music venues in Hollywood including The Viper Room, Hotel Cafe, and The House of Blues. After less than a year playing in Nevada, Kingwhistler has already kicked off the Levitt Amp Summer Series at the Brewery Arts Center opening for “Antsy McClain,” opened for “The Black Lillies” at Piper’s Opera House, played festivals such as the Nevada State Fair, been featured on KNVC, and played numerous solo shows and private events throughout Northern Nevada.
