The National Grassroots Broadcasting Network (NGBN.TV) has selected South Wake County areas that include Fuquay-Varina, Holly Springs, Apex, Angier, Clayton, Garner and surrounding areas as it’s second affiliate location for it’s new national multi-channel streaming platform. The new platform will be named “NGBN South Wake (www.ngbnsouthwake.tv)
“There a number of compelling reasons for choosing South Wake and the surrounding region of Raleigh, North Carolina. It has a strong economy, growing arts and live music scene. It also has a strong historical significance. It is the exact type of community that NGBN was built for!” said Ian Hill Co-Founder of NGBN.
NGBNSouthWake.TV will provide the region a platform for original local content, from music and entertainment to sports and news. both live and on-demand. NGBNSouthWake.TV will be available on RokuTV, Apple TV, Amazon Fire and Andriod TV as well its own mobile apps and the world wide web. NGBNSouthWake.TV will also have it’s own traditional linear broadcast like channel that broadcasts 24 hours a day.
According to Jeff Dudley, technical director on the project, NGBNSouthWake.TV will be launching on September 12th. Learn more at www.ngbnsouthwake.tv
